cureMEC hosts MEC nano-course
We are so excited and honored to be in Portland, OR at the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute (cc-TDI) headquarters for the first ever Nanocourse on Myoepithelial Carcinoma. Thank you to everyone at cc-TDI for all the time, energy, effort and care you put into producing this Nanocourse, which is a weeklong immersive bootcamp for families who have been touched by cancer. We are deeply humbled that you would do this in honor of our Sebas and we put our hope in what is possible with the research we are pursuing together. Also, check us out in our lab coats getting a tour of cc-TDI’s lab where all the magic happens.
From cc-TDI:
This week we held our first Pediatric Nanocourse since the pandemic began. Part in-person and part virtual, this three-day boot camp provides a meaningful opportunity for families, key influencers, and the community to dive deep into our research, allowing for a one-of-a-kind experience that impacts our future projects.
A huge thank you goes to Michael Casaus and Naomi Natale for hosting this year's course in honor of their son Sebas. We encourage you to visit cureMEC to learn more about their efforts against myoepithelial carcinoma. Thank as well to special guest John Collier for joining us from the Rucker Collier Foundation. Speakers included Dr. Sean Hall from The Wyss Institute, Harvard University, Dr. Erin Rudzinski from Seattle Children's, Dr. Anthony Haight and Arthur Frankel.
