As 2024 draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress we’ve made together. This year, we’ve witnessed real change in the fight against myoepithelial carcinoma (MEC), and none of it would have been possible without you. 

2024 MEC Research Update! In 2024, cureMEC was proud to partner with Dr. Brian Van Tine at the John T. Milliken Department of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.

It was a difficult decision to come to ASCO. It’s an expensive conference in an expensive city. The 5-day conference was filled with keynotes, panel discussions and poster presentations on the latest cutting-edge cancer research.

Last week, our family flew back to Stanford Children's Hospital in CA for Sebas’ next round of cancer scans and follow up appointments.

As 2023 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate some of the great strides cureMEC made this year.

cureMEC, in partnership with Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, is excited to announce that we have awarded a $50,000 “Outside the Box” grant

Good news! We got the results and the chest CT scan was “stable”!

Thanks to our incredible research partner, cc-TDI, A lot has been happening to advance the science of MEC and ultimately find a cure.

We are so excited to announce that last week we presented the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute (cc-TDI) with our first grant.

Today is the anniversary of Sebastián's diagnosis of Myoepithelial Carcinoma (MEC). It is a day we will never forget and that changed our lives forever.

This weekend, Michael traveled to Washington DC so he could represent cureMEC at CureFest for Childhood Cancer.
